LEED Certification for New Construction

What happens if we RADICALLY renovate a building that was LEED Certified in 2009? Will we lose our Certification??

Thanks so much for your prompt response!! Hopefully this will give you a better idea:

LEED NC2009.

No square footage is to be added, only manipulating within the envelope.

Currently existing as office and meeting spaces...we are planning to reconfigure to add a Fabrication Lab, Restaurant space (grab and go type venue), Fitness Center, and Co-Working/Office Spaces.

Hi Erin, your client wouldn't have to re-certify the building or worry about losing the rating. Your client would be able to keep his or her LEED rating.
