In 1st practice exam, question 22 if I use 20% of site area (110,00sqft) to get amount of adapted vegetation, I get 22,000 sqft as answer. But if I use 50% without building area, I get 25,000 sqft (110,000 -60,000=50,000*50%=25,000sqft). Answer is 25,000 sqft.
In question 25, if I take 20% of 270,000 site area, i get 54,000 sqft. If I take 50% of (270,000-240,000)*50%, I get 15,000 sqft. The answer is 54,000 sq ft.
Why is there a difference in percentage when calculating the answer. One question uses 50% without building area and the other uses 20% of site area???

Graciela, the requirements for SSc5.2/5.1 Protect and Restore Habitat... the requirements are the native vegetation is either 50% of the site area, minus the building footprint or 20% of the total site area, including the building footprint, whichever is greater. There may be multiple questions on the exam dealing with the greater of these two thresholds.
