The stress and frustration of managing LEED documentation just got a whole lot better as the Green Badger mobile app announces news of seed funding and a host of useful updates.

Managing multiple LEED projects at once just became considerably less stressful. Green Badger LLC has released an update to their first-to-market mobile LEED documentation solution.

When initially released in November 2013, the offering was as straightforward as they come, providing limited documentation assistance in regard to construction waste, sustainable materials, erosion control, and low-emitting materials.

But even with such selective applications, Green Badger gained considerable street cred with LEED accredited architects, interior designers, owners, builders and subcontractors.

The ability to instantaneously complete LEED documentation on any mobile device and maintain such documentation in the cloud undoubtedly streamlines what can otherwise be a more complex process.

As a result, at the end of March, the team released news of a partnership with New York and Savannah-based venture capital firm, SLAAM. “[SLAAM’s] financial contribution will help us rapidly deploy a host of new features and capability across a variety of market segments,” stated Green Badger CEO Tommy Linstroth in a press release.

The noteworthy adjustments in the pipeline are said to be considerably more in depth and will offer full scale project management assistance, from concept to finished project. Green Badger will be showing off their solution at a number of trade conferences over the summer including the AGC Contractors Environmental Conference in Arlington, VA on June 12-13 and the USGBC GreenBuild Conference in New Orleans this October.

Currently, the app touts a price tag of $189, but as much of their marketing material so aptly states, by saving just a few hours of filtering through your traditional paper LEED documents, green builders and designers can easily recoup the initial investment. Supported for both Apple and Android, you can purchase the app here.
