Daylight and Views

A healthy indoor environment is an important component to a green workspace and has been shown to increase employee productivity. Natural daylight, in particular, has been shown to have a positive correlation on employee well being and satisfaction in the workplace.

You will be responsible for calculating the percentage of day-lit space for part of our project. Using window area, floor area and visible light transmittance, you will be able to perform the daylight calculation to determine if our conference room meets the credit requirements.

You will also be utilizing a Credit Interpretation Ruling to re-run the calculation using additional information.

Upon completion, you will be able to perform this important credit calculation for any future LEED project while understanding how Credit Interpretations can affect these calculations.
