About

I am Santa Monica College's first full-time faculty hire for their landmark Sustainable Technology Program. I am responsible for curriculum development, lab direction, industry coordination, as well as teaching courses in solar photovoltaics and energy efficiency.

My background includes utility management and consulting, engineering consulting, government programs, and public speaking. I have an MSME from University of Hawaii with a certificate in Renewable Energy Engineering, and a BS in Physical Science from University of Maryland.

I am a LEED AP, and also a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor (CSBA) from the SBAI. I am lead faculty contact for the USGBC Student Group established in 2013 at SMC.
