I live and work in the upper midwest of the U.S.A. specializing in green design/build architecture and fine woodworking. I love to travel, preferably by bicycle, abroad and locally to experience fabulous architecture and sustainably designed communities. My design studio and 1910 vintage house have been on the National Solar Home Tour for the past dozen years. I have a passion for early pioneer aviation and am developing a line of laser cut 1/72 scale models and kits to document those historic attempts at heavier than air flight. I am currently studying the Living Building Challenge and prefer to only work with clients of similar mindset. I want to be part of the solution and not part of the problem.
